weir_cite

Render a canonical, stable citation for an item — the companion to weir_quote (quote VERIFIES a span; cite RENDERS the reference). Pass `id` for one item, or `ids` for a batch. SINGLE mode: pass `quote` to fold verification in — you get `cited:true` + the verified verbatim span + a `glass_id#start-end` locator embedded in the reference, or `cited:false` (and NO reference) if the quote is not in the source, so a fabricated claim cannot get a citation. (Or pass a `locator` you already got from weir_quote to splice it without re-verifying.) Each citation comes in every form: `inline` "(Author year)", `reference` (a full reference-list line with a durable weir handle that survives a dead URL), `footnote` (markdown [^key]: …), `wikilink` ([[handle]] — a LIVE graph backlink once written into a stacks note), and `csl` (CSL-JSON for machine reuse), plus `missing` (essentials absent — cite what is known, never fabricate). BATCH mode (`ids`): returns per-item `entries`, a `keys` map (stable BibTeX-style cite-keys), and an assembled `bibliography` (markdown footnotes by default; `style:"numbered"|"plain"`). Read-only; pure render over metadata weir already holds.
