Stick two parts together so movingFace meets fixedFace (normals oppose). For several copies on the same face (pins, legs, posts), put the sideways station in arguments.inPlaneOffsetMm {uMm,vMm} — do not write the offset only in reason text. Omit inPlaneOffsetMm to keep the moving part’s current sideways placement; pass {uMm:0,vMm:0} to center. Do not use a generic face mate on an explicitly authored sweep/curvedTube whose absolute path endpoints already contact the host; edit its path or provide measured movingPointMm/fixedPointMm anchors instead.
