Apply a coordinated edit to a part. Put only allowed keys in changes: dimensionsMm, positionMm, rotationDeg, scale, name, color, visible, profilePointsMm (revolve meridian or extrusion outline copied from get_parameters), pointsAMm/pointsBMm (loft end loops), loftHeightMm/widthMm/depthMm/surfaceMode for an existing loft, sweep {profileKind, tubeRadiusMm, rectWidthMm, rectDepthMm, pathPointsMm, pathMode} for an existing sweep, plus shape CAD params from get_parameters. Sweep and loft edits preserve the existing feature and omit fields you are not changing. Do not rewrite children, modifiers, features, id, or type. For small station tweaks, copy profile arrays into edit_part/set_dimensions. For a new irregular planar silhouette, use trace_image only if the user explicitly requested a trace and the view is verified to be a true prism; otherwise author an explicit profile instead of inventing a long profilePointsMm list.
