Create one editable, reusable construction family as a coherent parametric part tree. This is the preferred fast path for common mechanical roots such as shells, brackets, hole patterns, bosses, bushings, shafts, wheels, clamps, hinges, lids, snap-fits, threads, adapters, rails, gears, pulleys, bearing holders, knobs, hooks, and flanges. Dimensions inside parameters are millimeters. The result stays editable through its Construction parameters. Hole Pattern creates subtractive cutter geometry; use boolean_parts mode=subtract to apply it to a host.
