capture_scene_snapshot

Render the live 3D canvas to an image and return it, so you can actually look at the scene instead of inferring it from numbers. Use it to verify a change landed the way you intended, to compare a before and after, or when the person asks what the scene looks like right now. Changes nothing. If the canvas has not finished mounting yet this returns an error rather than a blank frame - wait a moment and try again.
