Find the exact nearest point on an operation from a millimeter coordinate and check its straight entry against every source segment, excluding only the intended attachment. Optional hintPoint chooses a different contour attachment by nearest snap. Read-only; does not set a start or approve a lead. A clear geometric nearest point is the nearest reachable straight attachment. Blocked does not rule out alternatives; no alternate-route search, wire-radius, fixture or machine certification. Paginate intersection rows with the same target version.
