Use visible CAD viewport operations: named view, fit/grid, feature/profile/reference-plane selection and ordered sketch point/edge sets, enter/finish sketch or curve editing, body/face/edge pick mode and exact-build topology selection. Plane selection never inserts a sketch: use cad_edit_document with an explicit plane to create one. Does not edit geometry or save. Active workflows block changes. Read cad_get_viewport after applying.
