Import one complete open planar line/arc chain from DXF as a fresh unsaved Curve document. Uses File > Import > Curve checks. Preserves exact source text, direction of ordered polylines, and exact circular arcs. Missing/unknown units require explicit mm/inch/cm/m; conflicting overrides, closed/multiple/branching chains, unsupported entities and approximations fail before replacing the draft. Refuses unsaved work, active workflows and stale versions; supports cancellation.
