Adjust one cel layer in place: opacity, stacking order ("front", "back" or an explicit z), matte mode ("window" is a feathered rectangle, "figure" cuts a per-frame anime matte so only the figure lands on the plate) and its region. Everything you pass is written in ONE edit, so the composite re-renders once rather than once per field. The cel itself is not regenerated — use reroll_layer for that.
