set_space_view
Switch active-floor/building scope, 2D/3D, hologram/blueprint/solid appearance, colour theme, the one building of a site shown (structure), or simulation playback. Use playbackTarget="process" after run_process_scenario to play, pause or seek its agents; get_space.processResult.playback reports duration, stale status and trace truncation. Use playbackTarget="robot" for cleaning/transport. Named views (get_space.view.viewpoints, Studio’s Views menu) are kept with the project: open one with viewpoint, keep one with saveViewpoint (the view on screen, or a picture get_view_image drew, passing its viewpoint), remove one with deleteViewpoint. Does not run a simulation or change geometry/results.

Input schema
| Property | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
scope |
string | no | — |
dimension |
string | no | — |
planLayout |
string | no | In 2D with scope="building": all-levels shows a sheet for every level; level arranges the active level. Use scope="floor" to edit one area. This is display state only. |
structure |
— | no | Show only one building of the site (get_space.building.structures): its floors and the floors of no building, as Buildings on the site > Show only does in Studio; null shows the whole site again. Display state only. |
mode |
string | no | — |
theme |
string | no | Colour palette ID from capabilities.themes; independent of rendering mode. |
showOverhead |
boolean | no | 3D: false hides roofs and what hangs overhead (parts raised 1.8 m or more, or tagged roof or ceiling) to see the floor beneath; true shows them again. Display state only. |
hide |
— | no | Leave parts out of the 2D and 3D drawing by kind or tag ({"kinds": ["chair"], "tags": ["decor"]}); null shows every part again. Display only: they stay in the model, its checks and every calculation. |
viewpoint |
string | no | Open a named view (its id or name from get_space.view.viewpoints): its floor area, 2D or 3D, scope, plan layout, building shown, and the camera or plan extent it was saved with. It sets those itself: leave out scope, dimension, planLayout and structure. |
saveViewpoint |
object | no | Keep a view by name, for the user (Studio’s Views menu) and for later calls (viewpoint here, get_view_image.viewpoint): the view on screen after this call’s other changes, or `view`. A name already used is replaced; a project keeps up to 24. Display state only. |
deleteViewpoint |
string | no | Remove a named view (its id or name). |
playing |
boolean | no | — |
playbackTarget |
string | no | process: the latest current run_process_scenario result; robot: the cleaning/transport result. Omit to keep the current playback target. Switching targets pauses at time 0 unless specified. |
timeSeconds |
number | no | — |
playbackSpeed |
— | no | — |
operationId |
string | no | Your own unique name for this change, such as a UUID; optional. Sending the same call again with the same operationId returns the earlier result (replayed: true) instead of applying it twice, and get_operation tells whether it applied. Use a new one for each new change. |
requestGroupId |
string | no | Attach this live edit to an open request group. Requires a fixed operationId and the current owned expectedRevision. Only the advertised five editing tools support groups. |
