compare_process_scenarios
Run a baseline and a candidate on the same building in one bounded calculation. Requires a simulation subscription. The observation window (horizonSeconds and warmupSeconds), arrival definitions, starting seed and run count must match. baselineParameters and candidateParameters give either side other parameter values without saving or resending a definition; leave out candidateId to compare one scenario with itself under other values ({"baselineId": "store", "candidateParameters": {"staff": 3}}). When an arrival parameter differs, the comparison runs and says so in comparison.differentArrivals: the candidate faces other demand, so its differences are not the effect of the option alone. Returns compact first-run statuses, warnings, assumptions, and candidate-minus-baseline measures. With repeated runs, differences are paired by seed; a bound or missing value has no numeric delta. Does not change the spatial model. The candidate becomes the active scenario and its trace is shown in Studio when it is the saved definition. The complete frozen inputs and result are saved in the project; use list_process_options and get_process_comparison to reopen or export them.

Input schema
| Property | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
expectedRevision |
string | yes | Use revision from the most recent get_space or successful edit. |
baselineId |
string | yes | — |
candidateId |
string | no | The saved scenario to compare; baselineId when left out. |
baselineParameters |
object | no | Values for some of the baseline's parameters, not saved. |
candidateParameters |
object | no | Values for some of the candidate's parameters, not saved. |
operationId |
string | no | Your own unique name for this change, such as a UUID; optional. Sending the same call again with the same operationId returns the earlier result (replayed: true) instead of applying it twice, and get_operation tells whether it applied. Use a new one for each new change. |
requestGroupId |
string | no | Attach this live edit to an open request group. Requires a fixed operationId and the current owned expectedRevision. Only the advertised five editing tools support groups. |
