Free project backup, including all areas, views, scenarios, saved comparisons, decision inputs and chat (includeMessages=false omits chat). Call without exportId at offset 0 to freeze a snapshot; fetch the next chunks with the same exportId and nextOffset until nextOffset is null (complete=true). A chunk is as large as fits the 1 MB link limit; pass a smaller maxCharacters to read chunks into a model context. Concatenate data strings in order and save UTF-8 JSON; verify totalBytes and SHA-256. Offsets count UTF-16 characters. One snapshot per tab, expires after 10 idle minutes. It stays frozen while the live project changes. Transient simulation traces are not saved. After a large creation or change, export and save the file on the user’s computer. Named local projects keep browser copies; cloud saving in Studio is Pro. Check persistence to confirm saving succeeded.
