run_step_response
Simulate the closed-loop unit-step response and return its exact numeric transient metrics: percent overshoot, rise time, peak value and peak time, 2% settling time, final value and steady-state error. Use this instead of trying to read the step-response plot: the plot is a canvas rendering, so its numbers cannot be recovered visually, and these are the actual simulated values.
