propose_blank_clip
Propose a blank clip on the timeline: a solid colour that takes up time, for building motion graphics on when there is no footage to put them over. Stage this first when they ask for a title sequence, an animated card or a graphics-only piece, then propose layers over it with propose_layer. It appears as a dashed block on the base track and is not part of the cut until the editor accepts it.
Input schema
| Property | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
seconds |
number | yes | How long it lasts. Five is a sensible title card. |

string | no | The ground, as a hex like "#101018". Leave it out for the theme's own dark ground, which is the safe choice. |
reason |
string | no | One sentence, shown to the editor. Why this, here. |
