simplify_paths
Object > Path > Simplify: refits paths with fewer anchors while keeping their shape — cleans up traced, sketched or jittery paths. Sharp corners (inner angle below cornerAngle) stay corners; everything between becomes smooth Béziers, or straight segments with straight: true. Shapes and compound paths work too (a rectangle or ellipse becomes an editable path). One undo step. Returns anchor counts before and after.
