capture-frame

Look at the video: the frame at a given timestamp (or the current one), returned as an image. Reads the exact frame — off the canvas where the file allows it, otherwise through the relay, which seeks the remote file by range request and so is not bound by the browser's cross-origin rules. Falls back to the archive's own coarse frame strip only where neither is available.
