List the free ports of a device, or the free outlets of a PDU beside the rack (zeroU id, e.g. z3), in runs. Data ports: speed and media; an empty cage needs an optic first (edit_rack fit). Power ends: connector and plug; an outlet also its type, label and U. cable.add takes {item, path, view}. A long list pages; the first line says what to send next.
