set_debris_params
Set the debris scenario the instrument is modelling. Accepts any combination of size in millimetres (1-15), relative speed in km/s (5-15), altitude in km (200-2000), and whether the ionosphere is in daylight. Omitted values keep their current setting. Values outside the valid range are clamped. This moves the on-screen sliders and redraws the chart, exactly as if a person had dragged them.
Input schema
| Property | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
sizeMm |
number | no | Debris diameter in millimetres, 1 to 15. |
speedKmS |
number | no | Speed relative to the plasma in km/s, 5 to 15. |
altitudeKm |
number | no | Orbital altitude in kilometres, 200 to 2000. |
daytime |
boolean | no | True for a daylit ionosphere, false for night. |
