Build a link that reproduces this map for whoever opens it: the camera, the selection, every shape and every note, plus the names of any point-of-interest categories loaded this session so the other side loads the same data and the selected places resolve there too, all encoded in the URL itself. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed - the state travels inside the link, so the person who opens it sees the map you are looking at now, with the human's own drawings still marked as theirs. Give the URL to the human as a URL, so they can send it on. Returns the url and its size in bytes. A map carrying very large hand-drawn shapes can exceed the byte limit a URL has to stay under; then there is no url, only an error saying what to remove. If "omitted" comes back, that many shapes or notes could not be encoded and are not in the link - say so rather than promising a complete map.
