save_checkpoint
Save a named snapshot of the entire chart — guests, tables, seating, rules, venue — that restore_checkpoint can return to. Session-only (it does not survive a page reload). Use it before trying something bold: checkpoint, propose a daring layout, and if the human hates it, restore. Saving an existing name overwrites it.
