Sponsored Placement Terms
These terms apply when you buy a labeled Sponsored placement on Influzer ($249/month). They sit on top of the general Terms and Conditions. Effective 2026-10-10.
1. What you are buying
A labeled advertising placement — not a ranking, not a SAFE badge, and not a handshake result. Influzer may refuse any creative or listing that is unclear, misleading, or off-topic for an MCP developer directory.
2. What is allowed
- Legitimate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, developer tools, and related infrastructure
- Honest descriptions of what the server does — no fake “SAFE”, “approved”, or handshake status claims
- Company or product names you have the right to promote
- Links to your Influzer listing or a real HTTPS MCP endpoint
3. What is not allowed
Do not promote any of the following. This list is not exhaustive — Influzer decides edge cases.
- Adult / sexual content Pornography, sexual services, dating-for-sex, or sexually explicit imagery or tools
- Gambling & betting Casinos, sportsbooks, lottery, crypto gambling, or “get rich quick” wagering schemes
- Illegal activity Anything illegal where Influzer operates or where the buyer targets users, including stolen goods and unlicensed substances
- Scams & fraud Phishing, fake credentials, pyramid / MLM schemes, investment scams, or deceptive “AI agent” monetization
- Malware & abuse Malware, credential theft, unauthorized access tools, spam infrastructure, or weaponized automation
- Hate & violence Hate speech, harassment, extremism, or promotion of violence against people or groups
- Weapons & dual-use harm Firearms sales, explosives, or instructions primarily aimed at causing physical harm
- Misleading ranking claims Implying Influzer certified, ranked, or handshaked the listing because of payment
- Impersonation Pretending to be another company, open-source project, or Influzer itself
4. Removal, cancellation, and fees
- Influzer may refuse, pause, edit, or remove a Sponsored placement at any time if it violates these terms, applicable law, or harms the directory’s users or reputation.
- If we remove or refuse a placement for a policy violation, fees already paid for that billing period are non-refundable. We may also cancel the Stripe subscription and keep amounts already collected.
- We may keep a record of the violation and refuse future promotions from the same buyer or company.
- If Influzer removes a placement for our own convenience (not a policy violation), we will offer a pro-rated credit or refund for unused paid time.
Practically: if the ad is porn, gambling, a scam, malware, hate, illegal, or otherwise banned, we can take it down immediately, cancel the subscription, and keep money already paid for that period.
5. Your warranties
You confirm you have the right to advertise the listing, that the MCP URL and copy are accurate, and that the placement will not violate these terms for the whole subscription period. If the listing changes into a prohibited category after purchase, tell us or we may still remove it under §4.
